Common questions about working at First Class

The lead installer role pays $26 to $34 an hour and the service technician role pays $24 to $34 an hour, based on experience, plus bonus. Both come with a take-home van, health insurance and full benefits, paid time off, paid holidays, and a tool allowance.

No. You can upload a resume, snap a photo of a paper one, or answer a few questions about where you've worked and what you did there. Most people finish in about five minutes on their phone.

Both roles need mini split experience, a valid driver's license with a clean record, and a background check before you start. Lead installers also need to braze, evacuate and charge, pipe gas and vent furnaces, wire and set up thermostats, and install variable speed or inverter systems. Service techs need to run no-heat and no-cool calls on their own. EPA 608 certification is a plus.

Both roles are Monday to Friday. Weekend work is optional and paid extra. All of our work is in the Upstate, so you're home every night.

A person on our team reads every application. If it looks like a fit, we'll call you within a few days for a short phone conversation, then set up a paid half-day working interview with our crew.
