Getting ready for your free in-home estimate

Here's exactly what happens when we get there, the rebates you might qualify for, and the coverage that backs every system we install.

What to expect

Your visit, step by step

One of our comfort advisors comes to your home for about 90 minutes. No rushing, no hard sell. Here's how it goes.

Step 1

We get to know your home and you

We start by listening. What's working, what isn't, which rooms never feel right, and what matters most to you. A lower bill, a quieter system, a baby's room that won't cool down, allergies. Your priorities shape everything we recommend.

Step 2

We evaluate your whole system

We look at the full setup. The equipment, the ductwork, the airflow, your electrical, and where everything sits. We check what's running well, what's near the end of its life, and what's been quietly running up your bill.

Step 3

We run a full load calculation

A load calculation (the industry term is a Manual J) is the math that tells us exactly how much heating and cooling your home actually needs. We measure your square footage, windows, insulation, ceiling height, and ductwork, then size the system to your house. Plenty of companies skip this and just match whatever was there before. Wrong-sized equipment short-cycles, costs more to run, and never keeps the house comfortable. We do the calculation so the system fits your home, not a guess.

Step 4

We lay out your options

Then we walk you through your choices, usually a few options at different price points, and explain the trade-offs in plain English. You'll know what each one costs and why. You decide on your own timeline. There's no pressure to sign anything that day.

Start to finish, plan on about 90 minutes.

Save on your system

Rebates you may qualify for

Depending on the system you choose and your utility, you may qualify for rebates that lower your out-of-pocket cost. We confirm what you're eligible for at the visit and handle the paperwork.

Coverage

The warranties behind your system

Every install is covered two ways from day one. The manufacturer covers the parts, we cover the labor. While both warranties are in effect on a covered repair, you pay $0.

What you actually pay

$0 out of pocket on covered repairs while your warranties are in effect.

No service call, no labor charge, no parts charge. The manufacturer pays for the part, we cover the labor. If you extend the labor warranty, that coverage rolls right past year 2 with the same rules.

10-year manufacturer parts warranty

Every system we install comes with a 10-year parts warranty from the manufacturer. We register the system within 60 days of install so the coverage stays in force.

2-year First Class labor warranty (included)

Every install also comes with 2 years of First Class labor coverage. You pay $0 for the service call and the labor on any covered repair during that window.

Want longer labor coverage? Extend it to 3, 5, or 10 years.

A one-time, fixed cost added to your install. Same $0-out-of-pocket rule on covered repairs, just for a longer window. Pricing depends on the equipment you choose, so we've laid it out by system type.
